Old Instruments for Young Hands
Take a look....in the closet, in the attic, under the bed...
Is there an old (or newer) no-longer-used instrument in your home? In storage?
Find it, save it, call us, bring it to us. Ask your family and neighbors too! There are many unsed instruments out there, and we want to collect them. Why?
Instruments are needed in some of the city schools for children whose parents are unable to buy or rent one for their child who wants to study music. The band will continue to collect them and get them to the schools each year in August before the new school year, who in turn will loan them to the children who would like to learn. The instruments can and will be loaned again, year after year.
